SCREENING PROCESS

Once an interview date is scheduled, a prospective student will undergo an individual skills assessment to determine if the student is developmentally and socially ready for the grade level being applied for. In keeping with our philosophy of education, this assessment is designed to be a fun, interactive time for your child, with activities designed to highlight your child's strengths and give us a view of them as a learner. The assessment also gives us information on how we can help best teach your child.

After the admissions screening is completed, parents will be informed of the admissions decision via email.

Screening

In the Nursery and Foundations Class screenings, our teachers will gain an understanding of the student's motor and self care skills, as well as the child's social interaction and general demeanor. In the Junior and Kindergarten screenings, the student will be asked to complete simple tasks that show their fine and gross motor skills, knowledge in their native language, and their approach to problem solving.
